Lo sport
Jesolo offers many opportunities for those who, in addition to relaxing, also want to do some sports on holiday. The choice is wide both for those who love water sports and for those who prefer traditional sports, such as five-a-side football, tennis, basketball or volleyball. In Jesolo, however, you can also find opportunities for more luxury sports such as golf or horse riding and adrenaline-filled experiences such as karting.
Traditional sports on the beach or in equipped centres
The long beach of Jesolo is dotted with bathing establishments which, thanks to the size of the shore, are equipped with high-level sports facilities. Beach soccer, beach tennis and beach volleyball courts are present in almost all the establishments and some of them are also professional. It is no coincidence that the World Beach Volleyball Championships are held here. Performing on these fields, even just for a game with friends, is always exciting.
However, in Jesolo there are also some fitness centers that offer the possibility of doing different types of physical activity, from tennis to five-a-side football, from volleyball to basketball and various types of gymnastic activities. The most exclusive fitness center is definitely the Play Village, which every year organizes internationally renowned sporting events for tennis and "Fitnesslandia".
However, there are also other more modest sports centers that are affordable for all budgets. Golf lovers, on the other hand, can find a real paradise at the Jesolo Golf Club, which has a 900 thousand square meter course with a guesthouse. The club welcomes thousands of fans of this sport every year, who are pampered and served in every way.
Jesolo also offers opportunities for those who love horse riding. The Jesolo Equestrian Center, in fact, offers its visitors the best horses and well-kept tracks to indulge in their passion in complete safety and enjoy a relaxing and regenerating experience.
Adrenaline on the track and water sports
For lovers of more adrenaline-filled sports, however, the advice is to visit the Pista Azzurra to let loose on the karts. It is one of the most important circuits in the world, where even famous drivers have performed.
If you like thrills and speed, all you have to do is rent a kart and all the safety equipment and climb aboard to press the accelerator. Fun with friends is guaranteed. Even the sea can become a place for sports activities. The most popular in Jesolo are sailing and windsurfing. The Sail Beach Jesolo has a trained staff that teaches adults and children to go sailing and surfing and windsurfing. An alternative way to enjoy your seaside holiday, combining physical activity with the pleasure of discovery.
Finally, another popular sport in Jesolo is biking. The city offers over 20 cycle/pedestrian paths in the centre, along the sea and further inland, up to the marsh. If you don't have your own bike, you can rent one in one of the many specialised centres around the city. Then just get on your bike and start pedalling at your own pace. The cycle/pedestrian paths are perfect for both a leisurely outing and a more intensive workout.
